Our site features the first National Support List for young carers, a Young Carer Library with multimedia resources, and a blog that features young carers’ stories and how you can join our movement to support young carers across Canada.

Professionals who work with young people and families—this conversation is for you.
Almost 20% of young people across Canada support a family member and/or close friend living young people who support a family member/friend living with chronic illness, disability, mental health challenge, substance use, parental absence, aging needs, and/or other social or cultural factors (e.g., language). However, the majority of these young carers are left to navigate their care roles without recognition or support.
Join us on January 29 at 1pm EST for the Care Connects Us Webinar to learn about the Young Caregiver Council of Canada and explore how we can collectively better support young carers across Canada.
